Glitz & Glamour.

I couldn't help but get inspired by Tori's fabulously glamourous home - the pinks, golds, whites, blues - they all say Tori, and they all live harmoniously together. So, because I couldn't get those colors out of my head I pushed aside what I was initially planning on posting and went with these. I'm keeping this short today because one, it's hot inside my wee apartment, and two, I want you to go look at Tori's casita and get inspired just like I did!

Just Because.

Sometimes things just go together in your head. This is one of those times when I'm not really quite sure why these three things go together - they just do! Maybe it's my growing admiration for gold and shiny things, my want for rustic decor in my apartment, or my excitement of being in warm weather. Whatever it is, it's also had me wanting to play around with my design a lot more (as you can tell by the weekly changing of my weekly picks board). By the way, those sticks with the string wrapped around them? I think I'm going to make a bunch of those in various colors - super easy DIY and looks awesome!

Happy Birthday to you.  Happy Birthday to you.  Happy Birthday to my dear husband, Happy Birthday to you.

Here we are another year later- stronger for many reasons and blessed for countless others.  How lucky I am to have found you those years ago.  My best friend, companion, soul mate.  The person who cries beside me in times of sorrow, holds my hand in times of uncertainty, and helped teach me that I'm stronger than I ever thought I was.  Words that aren't taken lightly- I know not every one is blessed to have someone like you in their life and I am so blessed to have you by my side.   I can't wait to see where this next year takes us.  On our biggest adventure yet, that is for certain.  How glad I am to have you with me on this journey.
