Happy Weekend of Hearts.

So, it's officially Valentine's Day weekend and while we aren't really huge V-day people around here, we still like to find the littlest reasons to celebrate.  So, that we will.  I mean who doesn't like to celebrate love?  And, I'm sure many of you have seen this, but we just can't help but leave you with this all over again.  It happens to be my favorite lovey dovey heart inspired engagement session of all time.  Because it's mine.  And it's in stop motion.  And there are heart balloons going wild.  And it's almost Valentine's Day.  And did we mention Sarah Yates is genius? Happy weekend.

A 30th Birthday.

One of our dear friends around here just turned 30.  Remember this hot lady in the green Gucci wedding dress?  Well, we decked out the patio of one of our favorite San Diego restaurants, Jayne's Gastropub, one Sunday morning to celebrate her.  She's the kind of person whose house is truly a home, who will cook you a homemade breakfast at 7 am before her work day begins (on fabulous china served in her garden), and who will throw you a damn good shower full of all the things you could dream of having at a shower but never knew it. She'll have your uncle dancing to mariachi's at your wedding and will turn just about any old party into a tequila dance fest.  The life of the party and also the most caring person in a room.  We are so lucky to know her and to call her friend.  And if you knew her, you'd be lucky to.

So what do you do when someone like this turns 30?  This hardly was up to par but we wanted to share anyway.  A rustic, farmhouse style brunch for one of the loveliest ladies in town.  Happy Birthday Miss F!

Possibly What Dreams Are Made Of

Remember a while back when there were rumors circulating that Anthropologie was coming out with a wedding line? Raise your hand if when you heard that you thought, "No! Now I'll want to get married all over again!". (Raising hand). If you were like me you just knew it was going to be drop dead gorgeous, full of details and so darn dreamy that you would maybe shed a wee little tear. The rumors were true and now the entire wedding world is dying over the sneak peek photos of the BHLDN line. Bridezilla madness will ensue in just a few days when the website officially opens and starts selling these babies on Valentine's Day! For now, let's just nod our heads in unison and be thankful that we have these photos to drool over. 

Any brides-to-be out there already planning to make their wedding an Anthropologie wedding? It's said that they're going to have a whole line of invitation suites with commisioned limited editions too! Insane. Check out more sneak peek photos here. Oh, yeah.
