Box of Pretty.

We had an amazing 1st anniversary!  An awesome stay-cation spent basically eating our way through San Francisco.  We received cards, phone calls and the sweetest emails.  Big hug thank you to everyone for the sweet words.  We also received this insanely gorgeous present from Miss Tori and Miss Farra.  Are you two kidding me right now?  Our wedding invite, little items to remind us of our honeymoon in New Zealand (hence the stuffed animal), a book on modern interiors, Jonathan Adler wine stoppers, the list goes on & on.  Thank you for the beautiful gifts and of course your always impeccable presentation.

Happy Happy Happy 1st wedding anniversary to G.  This past year has been just as incredible as the past 11 (wowza) that we've spent together.  Our wedding day was SO amazing! I still don't know if I can express in words the feelings I had that weekend.  All of our favorite people together in a little town that I love so much.  It was a dream!

Celebrate.

This weekend calls for some sequins (well actually, every single day should basically be a sequins day).  We will be work-working away, but plan to squeeze in some fun.  We have lots to celebrate!  Starting tonight with a fun birthday celebration, then a wedding anniversary dinner for Myka & G, and finishing the weekend off with some easter parties!  We can't wait.  Have a happy happy happy weekend everyone!  xoxo.

Easter Fun!

You never need a reason to play with glitter and get creative with sugar, but in case you want one, and you celebrate Easter, here's your reason! Since Easter is this Sunday I thought I'd share some fun Easter goodies that I remember making as a child, and some new ones that I wish I would have made. You've got a card, decorations, some eats, and fun games. Let's do this! We all know and love Confetti System. These garlands make any party an automatic success, right? Then there's Rifle Paper Co. - simply adorable. I don't remember ever giving or getting Easter cards, but now that such cute ones exist, I'm so in. Ok. Peeps. Raise your hand if you can eat more than one? Not I. But...throw them inside a graham cracker with some chocolate? Genius. Found via Kate Spades recently new Tumblr (which you must follow!). And, lastly these confetti eggs. Every year my cousins and I would make these, fill them up with colored tissue confetti and crack them on each others heads throughout the entire day. Imagine a water balloon war, except you're getting slammed on the head with egg shells and confetti (a nightmare to wash out of your hair btw). I loved this new twist on the confetti egg though! Vows.

In looking back at my wedding this last week, I've been thinking a lot about the vows we exchanged down in Mexico.  They were beautiful, from the heart and took a long time to write.   I cried as I typed them, my husband sobbed in front of our friends reading them, and our moms grabbed hands as we recited them.  I never, ever want to forget the emotion that went into that day and the words we said to each other.  

And now, we walk by them everyday.  A present for my husband, for us, the gift of never forgetting, they hang on the wall in our living room.  Our vows to each other typed and framed.  A memory of the beginning of our forever.
